Dog crate and air shipper

K9 have added a new dog crate to our product range for moving dogs by air. This is a custom built dog crate designed to be strapped down, reusable and ready when needed. The dog crate is made from aluminium so it’s lighter than steel, but built tough enough to meet air force requirements of an 8G stress rating.

These crates are currently used to ship bomb dogs, police dogs and army dogs safely across the world. Contact us if you’d like more information.

Quality features:

  • Every caravan is handmade to the specific requirements of each customer
  • The main frame is designed for strength and made from heavy gauge steel
  • The frame is double powder-coated before cladding is added to prevent rust
  • Each caravan has hydrophobic insulation which does not absorb moisture. In the event of an accident, the internal cage walls are designed to act as an internal life cell to protect the dog
  • Every caravan exceeds New Zealand Land Transport Standards Authority specifications
